365.bank — A Comprehensive Review of the Bank's New Architecture

Banking architecture review for 365.bank

How Grow2FIT independently reviewed 365.bank's proposed target architecture across six core banking domains — and turned the evaluation into a phased, risk-aware roadmap the bank could act on with confidence.

About the Project

365.bank set out to modernise its core banking landscape and needed an objective evaluation of the proposed TO-BE architecture before committing to implementation. Grow2FIT was engaged to review the design across the bank's principal business domains, validate the direction, surface risks, and recommend a pragmatic path forward — all within the constraints of a regulated banking environment.

Solution

Employing a structured methodology, Grow2FIT's approach for each area included:

  • An initial workshop to review the proposed TO-BE architecture and identified issues.
  • Preparation of a draft output for each domain.
  • Follow-up workshops that allowed for collaborative refinement of these drafts.
  • A final stage involving the completion and finalisation of the outputs.

The areas reviewed

  • Accounts & Cards
  • Payments
  • Consumer & Mortgage Loans
  • Corporate & Treasury
  • Data, Reporting, Compliance & CRM
  • Front-end and new omnichannel platform integration

Result

After a strategic review, Grow2FIT advised 365.bank to proceed with a phased approach to IT system enhancement, focusing on key areas such as payment gateway functionality and new customer channels. The recommendation included the implementation of a new Cloud Data Warehouse solution, focusing initially on incorporating new requirements into this platform.

We also recommended retaining core banking systems where beneficial. Further stages involve consideration of system evolution based on specific technological, financial, and market-driven factors. Details of the implementation are kept general to respect confidentiality agreements.

The outcome was not a rip-and-replace mandate, but a sequenced modernisation plan — clear on what to change first, what to keep, and what to revisit as conditions evolve.
